What This Is

ONE VEHICLE. ONE DRIVER. WHICHEVER DIRECTION YOU WANT.

The Pacific Northwest hides its best moments outside Seattle. Snoqualmie Falls is 40 minutes east. Leavenworth is two hours over the pass. The Olympic Peninsula is a ferry ride and three hours of coast. The Boeing Future of Flight is 30 minutes north. The Skagit Tulip Festival blooms for three weeks in April. None of these are easy without a car.

Private day-trip transportation is the simplest way to do them well. We drive. You decide. Want to skip Snoqualmie and add the Boeing Factory? Done. Want a Leavenworth day with a winery stop on the way back? Easy. Want to ferry to Bainbridge for lunch and walk the gardens? We coordinate the sailings.

A note on what we don't do

We are not a guided tour company. Your driver does not provide narrated commentary, history lessons, or in-destination tour guiding. If you'd like a guided experience at the Boeing Future of Flight, the destination has its own world-class onsite tours. For Olympic National Park or naturalist destinations, we recommend pairing our transportation with a regional guide service.

Snoqualmie Falls & North Bend

A 270-foot waterfall, riverside walking trails, and the small town of North Bend that doubled as Twin Peaks. Easy half-day. Pairs well with Boeing Future of Flight or a winery stop on the return. Peak flow follows winter rains and spring snowmelt.

THE GROUPS WE RUN DAY TRIPS FOR.

Why Seattle Shuttle

A REGION WE'VE BEEN DRIVING SINCE 2009.

Most day-trip destinations have weekend traffic patterns, parking shortages, and timing
windows that ruin trips for the unprepared. Here’s why local experience matters.
Local timing knowledge

Snoqualmie Falls parking fills by 11 AM on weekends. The Boeing Factory tour books out for weekend afternoon slots. Skagit tulips need early-morning visits to avoid traffic. We've been driving these routes since 2009 — we know when to arrive and when to leave.

Honest combination advice

Some combinations work; some don't. Olympic Peninsula + Bainbridge Island in a single day is exhausting. Snoqualmie + Leavenworth is geographically backwards. We tell you what works before you book — not after the day disappoints.

Group sizing without compromise

Sedan for two, SUV for five, Sprinter for fourteen, mini coach for twenty-four. Each vehicle is properly sized for both the destination roads and the cargo your group brings (cameras, picnics, kids' gear, wedding-weekend stuff). No "you fit if you don't bring much."

Weather contingency built in

Pacific Northwest weather changes destinations. Hurricane Ridge fogged in? We pivot to Lake Crescent and the rainforest. Tulip Festival drowned by cold snap? We add Deception Pass and La Conner. Your driver adjusts in real time so the day still works.

Day Trip FAQ

QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR
DAY TRIP,
ANSWERED.

The eight most common questions from couples, families, and group leaders planning
Pacific Northwest day trips. If you don't see yours, call 206-SHUTTLE.
What's the difference between Day Trips and Mt. Rainier or Wine Tours?

Day Trips are scenic visits to regional destinations near Seattle like Snoqualmie Falls, Leavenworth, Olympic Peninsula, and the Boeing Factory. Wine Tours are dedicated tasting days in regions like Woodinville. Mt. Rainier Tours have their own dedicated page due to the specific logistics and long mountain drive required.

Can we do more than one destination in a day?

Yes. Combinations like Snoqualmie Falls + Boeing Factory or Bainbridge Island + a winery work well. However, some pairings like Olympic Peninsula + Leavenworth are not realistic in one day. We'll tell you honestly which combinations work without making the day feel rushed.

Do you provide a tour guide or driver-guide?

No. We provide private transportation. Your driver handles the routes, parking, and timing but does not provide guided commentary or history narration. This allows you the autonomy to explore at your own pace. For specialized spots like Boeing, you can enjoy their official guided factory tours.

Are admission fees and ferry tickets included?

No. Admission costs (Boeing, Tulip Festival) and ferry tickets are paid separately. Ferry vehicle costs typically run $19-26 each way, plus passenger fares. National park fees are roughly $30 per vehicle. We can pay these at the gate and bill you later, or you can pre-purchase tickets directly.

How much do day trips cost?

Half-day trips (4 hrs) start at $440 in a sedan. 6-hour SUV trips start at $660. Full-day trips to Leavenworth or Olympic Peninsula (10-12 hrs) start at $1,100. For large groups, a 14-passenger Sprinter starts at $1,650 and coach options start at $2,120. All pricing is flat-rate per vehicle.

What's the best season for each day trip?

Snoqualmie and Boeing are great year-round. Leavenworth is best in fall for larches or winter for the lighting festival. The Tulip Festival is April only. Olympic Peninsula is best in summer for the clearest views, as Hurricane Ridge can be inaccessible in winter.

Can we customize an itinerary?

Absolutely. Most trips can be combined or shortened to fit your interests. Highly customized itineraries with 5+ stops work best as 10-12 hour bookings. Common requests include adding a winery stop to a Bainbridge day or ending a factory tour at a local brewery.

Are ferries reliable for Bainbridge Island day trips?

Generally yes. Ferries run regularly with multiple sailings per hour. We monitor sailings for cancellations (rare) or heavy summer wait times and adjust pickup timing accordingly. We handle the terminal payments and bill you at the end of the tour for convenience.

Pick your destination.
We'll handle the rest.
