What This Is

HONEST PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION FOR YOUR WINE COUNTRY DAY.

Most wine tour services blur the line between transportation and guiding. We don’t. Seattle Shuttle provides private, professional transportation for the wine day you’ve planned — and we’re transparent about what that means.

You pick the wineries. You make the reservations. You set the pace. Our driver knows the routes, manages the timing, and gets everyone home safely. That’s it. No upsells. No commission booking. No commentary you didn’t ask for. Just dependable transportation, flat-rate pricing, and a vehicle sized to your group.

Private vehicle
Just your group. No shared rides, no other passengers, no detours.
Your itinerary
Pick your own wineries and pace. We follow your plan, not a fixed route.
Group-sized fleet
Sedans for couples, SUVs for foursomes, Sprinters for parties of 14, mini coaches for 24.
Flat-rate pricing
Confirmed at booking. No surge, no hidden fees, no per-passenger surprises.

A note on what we don't do

We are not a guided tour company. We do not pour wine, give tasting commentary, or book wineries on your behalf.
If you'd like a guided experience with a sommelier or itinerary planner, we recommend pairing our
transportation with a Seattle-based wine guide service. Most of our customers
prefer the autonomy of planning their own day — but we want you to know what you're booking.

Why Seattle Shuttle

TRANSPARENT, DEPENDABLE, AND
PRICED HONESTLY.

A wine day that requires no logistics on your end shouldn’t require finger-crossing about
the bill, the vehicle, or what’s actually included. Here’s what you get with us, every time.
No designated-driver problem

A wine tour without one person staying sober is the entire point. Everyone in your party gets to enjoy the day. Our drivers are professionally licensed, regularly drug-and-alcohol tested, and never share the experience with you — they're working.

Group capacity that actually exists

"Up to 14" doesn't mean "up to 14 if you don't bring purses or wine purchases." Our Sprinters and mini coaches are sized for real groups with real luggage and real cases of wine. We've moved 24-person bachelorettes since 2009.

Pricing that doesn't change

The price you book is the price you pay. No surge pricing on holiday weekends. No per-passenger upcharges. No mystery fees added at drop-off. Gratuity is the only optional addition — and it's optional.

Honest about what we are

We don't sell ourselves as a "guided tour" and then deliver a drive. We're transportation — and proud of it. Many customers prefer the autonomy. Many couples want a quiet drive, not a host. We respect both.

Wine Tour FAQ

QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR
TOUR,
ANSWERED.

The eight most common questions from couples, wedding planners, HR managers,
and group leaders. If you don't see yours, call 206-SHUTTLE.

Is this a guided tour or just transportation?

This is private wine tour transportation — not a guided tour. Your professional driver handles the route, timing, and logistics. You choose the wineries, make your own reservations, and decide your pace. We do not pour wine, give tasting commentary, or book wineries on your behalf. This keeps the experience yours and the price honest.

How much does a private wine tour cost?

Wine tour transportation starts at $340 for a 4-hour half-day tour in a standard sedan. A 5-hour SUV tour for up to 6 passengers starts at $550. A 5-hour 14-passenger Sprinter van starts at $825. All pricing is flat-rate for the entire vehicle — no per-passenger upcharges or hidden fees.

Can we drink alcohol in the vehicle between wineries?

No. Seattle Shuttle operates a dry transport policy. Alcohol consumption is not permitted in any of our vehicles. Open containers are prohibited under Washington State law (RCW 46.61.519). You are welcome to purchase wine at wineries, which we will store in our climate-controlled cargo area for you.

How many wineries can we visit in one tour?

Most groups visit 3 to 4 wineries on a 5-hour tour, allowing roughly 60 to 75 minutes per stop. A 4-hour tour works well for 2 to 3 wineries, while an 8-hour tour can accommodate 4 to 5 stops with a lunch break. We recommend a relaxed pace for the best experience.

Do you book the wineries for us?

No, you make your own winery reservations directly. Many Woodinville tasting rooms require advance bookings. We recommend confirming all stops 1 to 2 weeks before your tour and sharing your finalized itinerary with us 24 hours prior so we can plan the optimal route.

How far in advance should I book?

For weekend tours (Spring-Fall), we recommend booking 2 to 4 weeks in advance. Group bookings of 14+ passengers should book 30+ days out. Off-season or weekday tours often have same-week availability. For last-minute requests, call 206-SHUTTLE directly.

What if a winery is closed or we want to change plans?

Once your tour is underway, your itinerary is fully flexible within your booked duration. Your driver will work with you in real time to swap stops, add extra time at a winery you love, or include a scenic detour. The day is yours to customize.

Is gratuity included in the price?

No, driver gratuity is not included. A 15 to 20 percent tip is customary for private transportation. You can add gratuity at booking, give it directly during the tour, or settle at drop-off. It is optional but greatly appreciated by our professional drivers.
